Fall Fundraiser

Good morning, parents!  Woodvale is launching its fall fundraiser today to generate revenue for technology, equipment, and supplies.  We are sending home catalogs today with items ranging from cookies to wrapping paper and kitchen gadgets for grandparents, neighbors, friends, and co-workers.  The school is giving away some exciting prizes, even if your child just sells one item.  Thank you!

Scout Recruitment Night

On Wednesday, August 28th at 6pm, Woodvale Elementary will host representatives from Pack 158 (Asbury) and Pack 156 (St. Mary’s) for a Cub Scout Recruitment and Information Session.  Both packs serve the Woodvale community and are part of the Kuna Nisha District of the Evangeline Area Council.  Representatives will be on hand to discuss all scouting has to offer the young men and women of Woodvale.  Parents can gather information and register their child for either pack at the meeting.

Representatives with the Girl Scouts of America will also be on hand to provide information on Girl Scout activities available to the young ladies of Woodvale.

Make plans to attend and find out about the wonderful opportunities available through Cub Scouts, BSA and GSA.
